Why do you think so many high horsepower cars run them? I didnt make this shit up. If you think that maxima fan blows harder than this one the only person you are fooling is yourself

This fan would keep my supercharged mustang no intercooler super cool in the middle of summer. Do you think everyone else that is chiming in is wrong too?

What actual hands on with it do you have? lets see a pic of your great setup
Been waiting forever to use this picture

Learn to read? Maxima fan 2500CFM, Taurus fan 2700-3000CFM.
I don't recall saying that at all.

THIS is true, and those probably pulled higher than 3000cfm.

I don't think, since most high HP Zs go back to a clutch fan because the efan can't cool the engine well enough.

But hey try it out, let us know kay?

Even the newer ones do, the difference is only about 500cfm. Both pull WAY over 3000cfm. Amazing that suddenly no one can get a fan to test that high when for YEARS anyone who tested them easily got 4500+.

Went to u-pull, got a fan out of a Lincoln, not same as yours. This fan would fit, except it's a pull-thru fan, I need a pusher fan. I had an old dual fan setup from years back that pulled thru, I'm reversing polarity to push.

If anyone wants the fan I bought today from u-pull, (1st pic) I'll sell for what I have in it, $17.50, receipt good for 30 days. Measures 21-22" wide x 16 tall.

Also have 21 x 17 for $10. (2nd pic)

PM me if interested

i've got a mark8 fan in my GT, i think its draining my battery tho, the previous owner wired it straight to the battery so when you turn the key on to battery the fan comes on. i had my alternator and battery tested and they were fine but im almost positive this is draining it

Grant do you have a relay hooked inline to power this fan? It needs a 75 Amp relay and and a 130 amp alternator. It should be no problem turning on and off with the vehicle. If you are missing one of these it is definately killing your battery. Your factory alternator is probably around 60-80 amps

U can see the difference of the relays.

have you tried to wire it in backwards? Im pretty sure these fans can run in reverse. and if its too thick you can cut them down a good chunk

Also since the fan shroud is a slightly odd shape if you mount it upside down the motor will be in a little bit different spot, that can help add clearance.
