The car has been starting and driving fineup until I parked it lastnnight. Went to start it this morning, it starts up and promptly dies before I even leave the driveway. lights, stereo, seatbelt all have power, so I Tried jumping it and it just turns and chugs like its trying to start but won't. I figure maybe its just too cold out. This afternoon I pull the battery to get is tested at autozone just in case...full charge, so I go back clean the terminals and battery posts and try to start the car. Same thing, chugs and turns like its about to start but won't. doesn't take to jumper cables either
I have ruled out the alternator as the battery wouldn't have charged if it was bad, and with a bad starter the car wouldn't try to start. Plugs were changed a month ago and its got like an eighth. tank of gas. Soair, fuel and spark are good. The battery is less than a month old and I cleaned the battery posts and cars terminals...I am drawing a blank
BTW 94 n/a eclipse. I'm looking for reasons it won't start other than being a dsm.
Fairly certain...the plugs aren't even a month old...fuel filter has been a while, but its had no symptoms of being clogged to the point the car won't start
There is more to fuel and spark than plugs and a filter, lol. See if you hear the fuel pump pressurizing when you turn the key to the ON position before you start it. Also check your coil pack for spark. I think DSMs like to have coil packs go out.

Kinda hard to break out gauges I don't have during the short time in-between jobs. But still seems odd they would take a shit randomly with no sign of trouble
