haha yaa i've been talking to him about it ha
what kind of plugs would you recomend?
but ya i'm still toying with idea's on the ride. i want a 240 more so idk what i'm doing with the alero yet. i'm more of a drifter

you should check out slrdohcs whip... might get some good ideas... like I said tho I don't know shit about your whip...lol!! best advice I can give is to just stay the fukk away from made in China/Tawain garbage (godspeed) cause it breaks quick...real fukkn quick...you can go cheap where you can exhaust and intake but really that's it... I really would say get yourself a good header(pacesetter is legit), a nice mandrel bent catback, a good nitrous kit w/ a RPM window switch and safety shit, some colder plugs and be good with it... then for now you'll be quick 15's maybe a high 14 ET... then research some more into a full SS swap or jus drop an LS1 in it...LOL!!!

yaaa i get what your saying. most people think that but any chassis part from the grand am will bolt straight up to my car. it's the same car but a different body.
the 2002 alero was the first gm model to have the ecotec in it so any cobalt, cavalier, sunfire, etc engine mod will bolt straight up.
i have like 3 pages of written mods down on paper that are possible for the ride ha. more research than the car is worth but it'll be cool in the end. especially to not worry about having another bad ass alero roll up next to me ha

Honestly with your whip I wouldn't know where to start... I know solstices are rwd so that may cause issues on the fwd setup... I would get on some forums and research what other Katz have done and go from there... Check out grand ams too cause I think they're the same shit... If anything I would save for a kit made for your whip or engine and modify it and go from there cause since your car isn't the most popular tuning platform out there piecing a kit together from scratch seems like it will be unreasonably expensive in the end
-
ya but isn't the cobalt a 2.0?
wouldn't i be better doing like a solecte motoror something. cause that's 2.4 turbo

you should jus look into doing a complete cobalt ss swap in your car or buying a "kit"... turbo-ing what you got now, piece by piece is gonna be fukkn expensive...trust me... it's always easier buying something all ready turbo'd, ask slrdohc... after you get all the misc bullshit (turbo, gaskets, exhaust manny, exhaust, oil/coolant lines, labor, fuel, all the bullshit and then tuning it somehow) you'll be in it for at least $3-$5k...guaranteed... when I rebuilt my motor, majority of it was done by me and in the end it still almost cost$7k... motor alone...
