raptor quad help

My friend has a 09 raptor that is practically brand new. Its been sitting for 6 months or so and it tries to start but won't run, my guess is bad fuel. So the question is do we have to drain the old fuel or can we just put some octane booster.

Drain it. Not like it's hard to do on a quad and start fresh.

Oh, it's fuel injected. You def need to drain it, and probably change the spark plug while your in there. You've pumped a bunch of turpentine and sludge through that motor and gumbed it up most likely.

And if it ran fine before, don't fuck with any of the set screws.

Drain it and and mix some yamalube engine med with it. It will clean the whole fuel system and help clean any carbon build up as well.
