Ok here's some updates for those of you crying lol.

Picked up a used magnafuel prostar 625 and modified the fuel lines to fit. Should supply enough power for my goals.

Got a steal on an ams 1000. Added microswitches to the shifter so it will have boost by gear. Also wired in the stock cruise control switches to add or reduce boost depending on wheel spin or if I need more power. I modified and built this custom bezel for it.

Also bought a co2 bottle to more accurately control the boost. Cage has been certed to 8.50's.

Here is the boost control solenoids mounted up and wired.

More to come....

So the other day on the way to the track the timing cover rubbed on the radiator and ruined it. I was planning on upgrading to a better rad eventually and now was forced to.

Here is the new mishimoto rad. Looks like a nice piece for the money.

Now some of you may not remember but when I first built the car I moved the radiator forward into the rad support for more engine bay room. I had to cut and then weld up the lower rad support to clear the bigger radiator. I also had to cut a little more on the top side to clear the mounts.

While I was at it hacking on stuff, I fabbed up some tow hooks for the front so I can easily strap the car to the trailer.

Next up was the inline thermostat housing made by Meziere. It comes made to fit into to stock hose but I cut off the nipples and welded on a -16 bung. The other side will get welded to the radiator inlet.

I then cut the nipples off the radiator so I could weld on the thermostat housing and lower -16 bung.

Finally heres what the hoses will look like mounted.

Hey, those fuckers need to EARN that weekly nickle.

I hear ya, bender and notcher are high on my list. I'm sure you've looked at Pro Tools? They actually offer the blueprints for one of the more simple benders they build for free so you can build your own... I think it probably takes an end mill though.

Build Your Own Bender - Free Plans

I know how you like to build your own tools =)
