GT42 Turbo Mustang GT

Its finally time to unveil my new car, but first a few details. My plan was to get an LS1 Trans-Am since I have always liked them, and I was searching earlier this year but could not find one locally. One day my friend called me up and said “my boss has a 2000 GT for sale cheap cause he is leaving town and doesn’t want to take it with him” So I ended up getting the car for $2500 in good shape running great. I was going to just flip it cause I hate mustangs and double my money. But as I started driving it, it grew on me and after a while I decided to keep and build it instead. Of course several F bodies popped up for sale after I decided this. Anyways, I got the car in May 99% stock, and started building it in late July, I custom built and wired the entire system and did all my own fabrication and welding. Since I was unemployed and going to school at night I worked on it most of the days when I had parts to put on. I finished it like it is now in December and got it running but could not get it to rev. Everyone online and at megasquirt kept telling me it was a tune issue. So after a while of going nowhere I talked to Sean at Solid-Tech and decided to let him get frustrated with it. After lots of messing around with it neither one of us could get it to run, and finally I said lets try changing some configuration settings and we did and bam it started running. After a little relocating and adding of wires I put the settings in sequential and the car started running even better. Sean was finally able to work his magic and got it tuned nicely. We took it to the dyno and made 472HP/469TQ on 7 psi of boost on E85. This is only the beginning of a work in progress.

LS truck coils/ Custom MSD wires
90mm TB
MMR fuel rails
95 LB Delphi injectors
Fuel cell, A1000 pump, A1000 regulator, -10 feed to -8 to -6 return
E85
Tial Q Bov
Tial 44 WG
4” Race Ready Perf Elec Cutout
Oil filter relocation/B&M supercooler oil cooler with -10 lines
Canton racing oil filter adapter
-16 lower radiator hose
Custom built Gauge panel with all Autometer gauges
10 PT Wolfe mild steel cage with X bars
Wolfe Through floor subs
UPR K member/Coilovers/Strange shocks/UPR Bumpsteer kit
Poly motor mounts

Battery relocation/Moroso battery box/Shut off switch
Custom Radiator relocation(forward)
Moroso radiator overflow bottle
UPR power brake delete with custom built brake lines and Summit Line Lock

This thing is beast! It was necessary to move the COP's for the fuel rails??

Also, your still running the stock lower and upper control arms?

Its laggy spool around 3700, but I bought the turbo for the future.
