Driving my car again feels so good! Even though the QTPs were sketchy as fuck in the rain. Clutch is chattering a bit but I've only got about 25 miles on it. Shifter feels solid as a rock.

Heading out to to the garage to put the stock wheels and tires back on.

A STREET CAR
Any car driven on the street. Most people use it when talking about cars that are built to race but are still driven on the street.Doesn't matter luxery/stripped interior/whatever. If its registered/plates/"legal" than its a street car.

Being stupid is expensive. When I put the stock wheels back on, forgot to take off the RaceStar concentrics. Now the wheel studs and the concentrics are junk.

Guess it was time for 3" studs anyway.

How is the new shifter doing?

I will be honest I hated the RXT for the first thousand miles or so, but once it broke in and I learned how to use it, I sure love it. I assume your pedal is softer than stock now?

Yes, it's odd, clutch feels mushy. Where does yours engage?

Mine is about where stock was, maybe half way out?

It studdered like a bitch for a good 1500 miles but then finally went away. It was hard to go anywhere slowly and really hard going up inclines but now its all gone (or I learned how it likes me to drive it).

Well, the car now has extended studs and open lugs. Was going to have to do it, just didn't want to do it now. Thanks to Se˝or Costa at Yearwood Performance Center!

The death wobble is gone.

Did you remove the helper spring on the clutch pedal? It's really easy and I think it makes the clutch feel a lot better.

I have not removed the helper spring yet. Haven't even looked for it. It is on my list of things to do though.

▄ber easy. Flat head screw driver is all that's needed to remove the keeper from the back of the actuator. Firms up the pedal nice. Only complaint it at the tippy top, since there is no spring to hold the pedal, there is about 1/4 inch of play.
