if a spool is available get a spool. If it has to be welded then it must be arc welded but its always sketch as to how it might hold up under load.

Weld the spider gears inside the diff together. All the way around.

Buy a spool. They arent that expensive, and will actually hold up and not have issues with it.

I think, if you are going to build something you should do it the right way. For what you will pay to have someone weld that for you, you can buy a mini spool. less then $100.
But thats just me.

i kno how to weld i can tig mig and arc weld but i just dont have money im in high school and i am a athlete all season
