1940 Ford Pickup

My dad and I are building a truck together. We just bought a engine for it, its a 525 cubic inch BBC engine and we can't find a great transmission to put into it. Any suggestions?

Drag racing, a Powerglide or TH400...
Cruising, a TH400 or 4L80E...
if you're not planning on using all of the HP that large of an engine puts out, you could get away with a 700R4... a TH350 would work as well.. and can be built to handle quite a bit of HP.. I'm just sticking with the heavy hitters.
