My single turbo C5 build

*just realized I hadn't posted it on here so this is copied and pasted*

Hey guys I figured it was time to start a build thread for my own documentation and to share my build. Ok so here is the run down:

The car is a 99 C5. Previous combo was a healthy H/C/I combo making 458whp. Time to step to the dark side

New Setup:

_ENGINE_
-07 LS2 19k miles
-ARP Rod bolts and Head studs
-LS9 head gaskets
-Cleaned up 317 Heads w/Lunati valvetrain
-Custom baby turbo cam 228/228 .588/.588 114
-LS2 intake and TB

_Drivetrain_
-still using my beefed up MN12
-stage 4 DTE diff with brace
-McLeod RXT
-solid torque tube bushings

_FUEL_
-Custom Bosch 044 in tank setup
-Cordes Performance fuel system(similar to the A&A) Black everything, Aeromotive Boost Ref FPR, walbro 255(for now), Nasty Nate black billet rails, etc..
-FIC 1000's
-91 Oct and meth for now.

_TURBO_
-PT7675 CEA billet wheel with .96 A/R
-Custom turbo kit built by me and best friend Brad at Synfab Performance
-Treadstone FMIC
-Turbosmart Raceport BOV and 60mm Wastegate

My GOALS are to make 800whp for now on the stock bottom end on "high boost" and eventually with some seat time run 9.x@14xmph.

Thats all I can think of for now. If you guys have any questions or suggestions just let me know! Feedback is welcome!

Now for the real work... Brad at Synfab Welding up the new radiator mounts and the intercooler brackets. I cut out a bit of the cross member to get the intercooler as far forward as possible.

Done. Its hard to tell from this picture but the radiator ia now 2-2.5 inches lower as well. Also ordered the dewitts dual fan setup. Hoping it will be here this week.

I decided to go with a 4 inch fender exit exhaust. Looks amazing, sounds amazing, makes more power, less weight, etc

So that meant relocating the battery, tray, and the mount had to be cut off, and the ECM had to be relocated as well. Fun stuff :-(

So much room for activities! It will get cleaned up and painted as well...

Cut the 4.5 inch hole in the fender. Not gonna lie, this was a bit nerve racking as you only get one chance to get this right lol

Driver side manifold ready. We were going to run the crossover through the front but because i opted for fender exit exhaust there was no need to make room for a downpipe to go under the car. So the crossover will go behind the motor.

Ok, trying to decide if i want to finish cutting out the plate section or just spend the 250 on the lg ram air filler plate. What do you guys think???

Done for the night, back at it tomorrow!

Welding up the pipe to the fmic, also welding on the bov flange

All done! Just need to get one 4 to 3 inch couple to connect it to the throttle body. Tomorrow will be the crossover.

Crossover is done as well. Also started on the downpipe. The downpipe and wastegate will be done tomorrow.

Here ia the crossover wrapped in the titanium wrap... NOT the downpipe lol
