I'd say the turbo is out of air, really didn't feel much better with boost. I think the 2-3 degrees of timing helped out more. With a shit 1.57 60' the car went 10.11 at 136.6mph. The last run I stayed on the t brake until it built a full 15psi, then let it eat. I expected it to spin, but it dead hooked. I knew it was definitely the best lauch I'd ever done and got really excited for a very short time.. tranny went boom while the front wheels were still in the air and locked up the rear tires causing the car to slam to the ground pretty hard. The car is in the air now and the tranny will be out tomorrow..
you ever build a glide Mike? I am planning on trying to build it myself but it's always nice to have someone to turn to with questions.

I have had them apart before, but by far no expert on them. I'll help you out as much as i can man. You might contact slocoupe88, He has a mac daddy glide sitting in his garage he wants to get rid of! Did it hurt any of the front suspension when it slammed down? We need to get another BBQ planned soon.

I've inspected the front end and everything appears ok. I was going to buy Slocoupe88's tranny but it was built by someone that I don't trust at all. I'm figuring the experience might be fun and way cheaper since I already have a case.

Doing it yourself does have a way of being cheaper. I'll help you go thru it if you want to bring it up. I can also get hughes or TCI parts if you need anything.

I made a little more progress on the car tonight. I finished up the charge piping, just need to tack weld it and get it to diesel doctor for final welding.

Thanks man! I need to send the maf back in to get recalibrated for a bend before the maf. I tried to get it in a staright piece of piping, but that maf is so long the only place it would fit was above the header, and i didnt really care for that idea much. But all in all it all should work pretty good, Hopefully ill find out soon. I ordered the SCT pro racer tuning software for it so im stoked to play with that!
